Why Was Tritium Found At 9/11 Ground Zero ???

With 9/11 back in the news, is there anything still worth investigating about that tragedy other than the apparent involvement of Saudi Arabia?

According to at least one author, the answer is "yes" - the possibility that WTC1, WTC2, WTC6, and/or WTC7 were damaged or brought down by nuclear bombs. You can read about his theory here:

I have written about similar theories before. As I stated many times, chemical evidence suggesting the presence of fission products and/or byproducts of nuclear fusion at 9/11 Ground Zero is NOT conclusive proof of the use of nuclear bombs unless confirmed by radiation measurements, and to my knowledge this has NEVER been done.

You can find my previous posts on this subject here:

As far as the tritium hypothesis goes, some have said there were only two known sources of tritium at the World Trade Center site - (1) gunsights on weapons present at the complex, and (2) exit signs on the two aircraft which hit the twin towers. Since neither of these putative sources can account for the amount of tritium alleged to have been found at or around the site after 9/11, they have concluded the residual MUST be evidence of the use of some sort of nuclear bombs.

However, everyone is neglecting the largest source of tritium in the region - the Indian Point nuclear power station on the Hudson River and only 35 miles north of Manhattan. Indian Point is well known to be a producer and leaker of tritium into the environment. You can read about it here and other places on the Internet:

https://www.rt.com/usa/332087-indian-point-tritium-leak/

There are several ways Indian Point tritium could have found its way to Ground Zero. These include accidental and/or intentional releases into the Hudson River, and the accidental and/or intentional dumping of waste at various locations during the 9/11 attacks and their aftermath.

Or is it more reasonable to believe the US government was complicit in a nuclear attack on its own soil?
