Crimes Jihadists Will Sentence You to Death For

Here is a comprehensive list of things jihadists have killed people for doing. In light of what is happening in Europe, it is well worth reading:

However, in all fairness we ought to reflect on the "crimes" for which America's willing executioners have killed people:

1. Walking in the street (Michael Brown)

2. Selling individual cigarettes (Eric Gardner)

3. Making eye contact with a police officer (Freddie Gray)

4. Making a wrong turn (Miriam Carey)

5. Failing to signal a lane change (Sandra Bland)

6. Attending a wedding in Afghanistan (numerous instances)

7. Practicing journalism (the "Collateral Murder" victims, Michael Hastings, and many others)

8. Being the relative of an alleged terrorist (Abdulrahman Anwar al-Awlaki)

9. Holding a pen knife

10. Holding a pair of scissors while sitting in a wheelchair

11. Holding a cell phone

12. Being a native American

13. Being gay

I could come up with several more examples if I had time, but I hope you get the point I'm trying to make. Anyone who thinks that the United States is morally superior to the people we are so eagerly fighting is sadly mistaken.

And if we really want this war to end, we're going to have to stop retaliating and start following the Golden Rule:

“If you do not understand the Golden Rule, which is the most important law in the universe, then you are in trouble. All other rules in your holy books combined — are not as valuable as the ONE Golden Rule. Take two minutes to learn the most crucial law in life. Killing another human comes with the highest penalty, regardless of how you justify it. All life is sacred.”
