Afghan-Iraq Wars Cost $4 Trillion - $6 Trillion

According to this report, our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq will ultimately cost between $4 trillion and $6 trillion:

Neither country was our enemy before we invaded them, and neither country attacked us prior to our invasions.

These wars are among the most stupid things the US has ever done, and now we're getting ready to go to war with Russia?

Wouldn't all that money be better spent fixing America?

Update: So far, we have spent an average of $337 million per day on these wars:

You may argue that's little more than one dollar per day per person in the US (and you'd be correct), but that amount of money could have provided a nourishing meal every day for every American who needed one ... and then some.

And that would make us a lot more secure as a nation than bombing people all around the world.
