So, all you US workers who want a pay raise to $15 per hour ... good luck with that. In reality you are driving the final nails into your own coffins. The rich are going to force most or all labor out of the market very soon, and then what will you do?
By the way, what is the ultimate purpose of Google's driverless cars? People without jobs cannot afford to buy them and have nowhere to go. More likely than not, such robot vehicles will deliver stuff to the people who do still have money, and a drone will pick up packages from the truck to put them right at your door.
If you have money, that is. If you don't have money, perhaps one of these driverless vehicles can take you to the Soylent Green factory for ultimate recycling and disposal. If you're an old fart, your children may sell you to the Death Panels just so they can have something to eat.
